Summary

The zombies are disappearing。 This might seem like a good thing, since zombies eat your brains, but normal human kid Jack Sullivan is suspicious。 He keeps hearing an eerie shrieking noise that seems to be almost summoning the zombies—but to where, and for what (probably) foul purpose?

Jack, his three best friends (maybe the only people left on Earth), and their pet monster Rover need to get to the bottom of this。 Along the way they encounter a lot more than they bargained for, including a giant Wormungulous, a pizza parlor monster hangout, an ancient evil who destroys worlds, and a stereo system that is totally the bomb。 Can Jack figure out why the zombies are vanishing 。 。 。 before he and his friends are next?

Hilarious and fun。 As someone with ADHD this really was so refreshing。 The main character is charming and honest with how human and imperfect he is, and the found family trope is strong in this book。 Couldn't recommend it enough and I'll definitely pick more up by this author! Zombies, monsters, mystery, and a juvenile sense of humor。 What more could a kid, or a very immature adult, ask for。

Nathan

Thrull a tricky monster。 He is a real mystery。

It was good because they had fun and beat an evil tree that want to bring it´s master on earth。They had best tree house with a lot of weapons on the tree house just in case of the monsters that´s in their world to take over and eat the smaller monsters that are weak or useless so the master can get stronger then before when there where no monster in the world that the monsters had came from before the apocalypse had happened。

I was a little nervous at first that this was going to be too similar to the first book, but I was gladly mistaken。 They do kind of re-introduce characters in a similar way which makes me think that it’s not necessarily a series that needs to be read in order, which is good for kids with short attention spans that don’t want to read a whole series lol。 It was a cool adventure, meeting some new monsters, building a bestiary, and having to stop the Destructor of Worlds from entering their world。 E I was a little nervous at first that this was going to be too similar to the first book, but I was gladly mistaken。 They do kind of re-introduce characters in a similar way which makes me think that it’s not necessarily a series that needs to be read in order, which is good for kids with short attention spans that don’t want to read a whole series lol。 It was a cool adventure, meeting some new monsters, building a bestiary, and having to stop the Destructor of Worlds from entering their world。 Enjoyable, and makes me literally laugh out loud :] 。。。more

I liked how crazy Jack was because I’m also that way。 I have to warn you that this book has 31 chapters! I hope you have fun reading it! I’m looking forward to reading the third book。

This continues to be a great book series for kids while sneaking in fantastic life lessons under the surface。 My son can’t get enough and now I understand why。 Jake and his rag tag team of friends which will soon enough include some unlikely members are simply endearing。

This was better than the first book, but I am still trying to figure out if it wants to be a book or a graphic novel。 The illustrative work is good, bit like the first book, there are comic strips embedded in the writing。

The second installment of Last Kids on Earth was all about disappearing zombies and the appearance of not-evil monsters。 Jake and his friends get in way over their heads, but there's a very "united we stand" vibe that sees them through。I liked the author's attempt to give Jake an internal conflict about keeping his friends safe, though it felt a bit stretched at times。Overall, it was a very amusing read and my daughter is certainly eager to continue the series。 The second installment of Last Kids on Earth was all about disappearing zombies and the appearance of not-evil monsters。 Jake and his friends get in way over their heads, but there's a very "united we stand" vibe that sees them through。I liked the author's attempt to give Jake an internal conflict about keeping his friends safe, though it felt a bit stretched at times。Overall, it was a very amusing read and my daughter is certainly eager to continue the series。 。。。more

For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-Cycle I really enjoyed this one。 Adventure, suspense, and so much grossness。While I liked the first book, I remember Jack's obsession with June getting in the way of me truly enjoying it。 It just came off as creepy and gross so it was hard to really get into the book。 This one does not have the same problem。 It was much easier for me to jump headfirst into this strange apocalyptic world, battle some crazy monsters, and meet some new friends。Fast-paced For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-Cycle I really enjoyed this one。 Adventure, suspense, and so much grossness。While I liked the first book, I remember Jack's obsession with June getting in the way of me truly enjoying it。 It just came off as creepy and gross so it was hard to really get into the book。 This one does not have the same problem。 It was much easier for me to jump headfirst into this strange apocalyptic world, battle some crazy monsters, and meet some new friends。Fast-paced and full of creative oddity, this book contains new monsters, new villains, new mysteries, and a whole lot more。 A great second book that continues the adventure of Jack and his friends。I'm glad the whole creepy June obsession was left behind, making way for some awesome adventures。 Jack grows a lot in this one and learns a great deal about what it means to be a leader and a friend。Can't wait to see where the next book leads。 。。。more

This book was AWESOME!!! I love the lesson that Jack learns in this book。 We have to understand that we can't do everything on our own or for everyone。 A great lesson for middle schoolers to learn。 Great read。 This book was AWESOME!!! Not sure why I listened to this, without kids with me, but I did。 My kids wanted to listen to this a month ago on a road trip, but I didn't get the audio book until recently。 I listened since it was quick and it's very similar to the first one。 A fun protagonist and exciting story line that most upper elementary school kids will enjoy。 A bunch of kids at my school ask for this series, it's becoming quite popular。 Not sure why I listened to this, without kids with me, but I did。 My kids wanted to listen to this a month ago on a road trip, but I didn't get the audio book until recently。 I listened since it was quick and it's very similar to the first one。 A fun protagonist and exciting story line that most upper elementary school kids will enjoy。 A bunch of kids at my school ask for this series, it's becoming quite popular。 。。。more

Ever wondered what it would be like to live near a friendly group of monsters? If you have meet Jack, Dirk, June, and Quint from Last Kids on Earth 2: Zombie Parade。 In this book the group is tricked into doing evil deeds by an evil monster and end up threating the world。 Will they save the world or will they not? Find the answer to the question in this book。 I love this book because there is so much drive and character devolvement but there is a lot of unnecessary detail that was just there。 My Ever wondered what it would be like to live near a friendly group of monsters? In the second book of the series the stakes are raised as Jack and his friends begin to learn the origin of the monster apocalypse that has overrun their humble town and apparently the rest of the world。 This one is less silly than its predecessor, but it still has a few good jokes and will appeal to adventure-seeking kids。
